ZION SUZUKI…..Japan’s starting goalkeeper has faced racism his whole life….growing up in Japan?….no question……and now he’s representing the country at the World Cup…..he was born in the U.S. to a Ghanian father and a Japanese mother and was raised in Japan….he could have repped any of those three countries….but he chose Japan…..and some fans still haven’t accepted him…..at the 2024 Asian Cup, Japan lost to Iraq 2-1…..and many fans blamed “The Black Guy” for Iraq’s first goal…..dudes social media was flooded with hate mail and racial abuse…..Japan’s coach Hajime Moriyasu said in response to the racial abuse….. “For our precious player Suzuki, I feel very ashamed and appalled that he was racially discriminated…..I will support him in any way possible….I strongly object to the people who violated his human rights”…..two years later, Suzuki entered the 2026 World Cup…..as Japan’s undisputed number one goalkeeper.

MANY FANS…..From different countries chanted in unison….. “Free Palestine”…..the World Cup is a sweet reminder…..that the world can get along…..it ain’t that hard…..smile more….the best take away from the World Cup is the fact that……people around the globe are tired of division.….politics and administrations have been pitting us against each other for years, for profit and entertainment….seeing different countries coming together, united and to just have a good time…..is the best middle finger to the politicians….saying,…. “This is who we are…..we can be this!”…..make sure you find “Jack Aynsley Travel”….his trip around America tells a great story…..John Derting also…..and Matt Shoe….walking alone in a foreign country has to be the highest forms of freedom…..I laughed when I came across a video of a young woman freaking out over American yellow school buses…..it brought back summer camp and trips to the lake….steam coming out of the grates on the streets of NYC…..a British guy said…. “It’s just like in the movies”…..I love how they were freaking out over free refills in restaurants…..the size of the plates of food….the size of the products in stores….one guy freaked out because you could buy a gun in a local store….another one lost it because you could buy alcohol in a pharmacy…..what you may hear on the news may not be the true picture of a place you’ve been told not to trust…..still, what you see….is what you get…..the FIFA World Cup is the worst nightmare for every world leader who’s built their power on fear and careful manipulation…..sad to say, we’ll all go back to hating each other after the games are over…..because many times we never really see the person who is standing right in front of us…..and people of the world, we have to truly take time and ask ourselves…..Why?…..one thing is for sure…..the World Cup is making everyone realize….that our beef is with our world leaders….not with each other…..Dutch, Nigerians, African-Americans, Ecuadorian’s slamming shots in a bar in Houston, Texas….only at the World Cup…..this moment can also happen if you decide to travel….and learn something new…..and language is never an issue…..you always find a way to communicate…..a lot of the “Male” fans even fell in love with NFL cheerleaders….a Dutch guy told his friend to leave him alone….he might blink and miss something when he watched the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders….Scots gaped at the New England Patriots cheerleading squad, adopted a duck and put a kilt on it.…..rodeos, monster truck events, longhorns marching down a street in Texas, watching kids ride sheep at a rodeo in Texas, New York Knicks ticker tape parade, Ecuador turned the streets of Philly into a sea of yellow, Brazil flooded Times Square, the Brooklyn Bridge and danced into Philly,….and….my favorite….a English fan was boasting about how England drank 5,000 beers in one pub….a Scottish fans read this and said,…. “Shut up you wankers….we shut down a city.”……a German fan was eating in a Denny’s and fell in love with the booths….. “I’ve seen them in all the movies, kids drinking milkshakes, eating burgers and it’s really cool to be sitting in one”…..seeing real cowboys……tailgate parties blowing their minds…..one guy said,….. “All this food people are giving me for free….screw the game, I’m hanging in the parking lot”…..people from different countries were saying….. “I have never seen so many people from my country in one place”…..people were losing it over how beautiful the U.S. stadiums were…..a guy visiting an American high school football field and thinking he’s in a high school musical movie…..airline pilots dancing with fans in the airport…..walking up on a kid’s lemonade stand on the street….a kids baseball game…..a restaurant owner telling a British fan….. “Boy, you better put that knife down….and pick that rib up in your hands and bite it”….dude had an outer body experience once he did that…..I enjoyed them dealing with the heat in different parts of the country…..way too hot for a lot of them…..only in New Jersey would you find a Mongolian reppin’ Ghana and a female Newark police officer jammin’ to Ghanian music…..she was throwing down……..Kansas City had over “35,000” Dutch invade the city…..there weren’t that many when they sold Manhattan….Croatia came into town….came across a wedding in progress and partied with the bride and groom……FIFA has officially lost control of the games because no one knows who to support anymore….Scots were celebrating Mexican goals….Mexicans were singing Scottish songs…..Brazilians were wearing kilts and Koreans were waving Mexican flags….
