FOOTBALL….And I think (if this is the/a guy) Mac Engel nailed why the sport is “THEE” global sport….. “ There is one reason why football is the most popular game in the world by a wide margin…..still over basketball….it’s because football is the least expensive sport in the world to play…..all you need is…..a ball…..you don’t need a net, you don’t need a goal, you don’t need refs, you don’t need fancy shoes…..you just need a ball….you can play it on pavement, you can play it on a highway, you can play it on sand, grass, turf……you can play it on hardwood or on carpet….you can play football anywhere…..all you need is…..a ball and that’s how it became the most popular sport in the world.”

DEAR AMERICA….I hope you enjoyed your first World Cup experience….even though many Americans didn’t even know we were hosting the event….didn’t even know we had a national team…..and truth be told….you didn’t even experience “HALF” of the World Cup feeling….and you will never experience the “World Cup feeling ever again…..it’s never coming back….the world hates you…..even more……due to the fact you destroyed the one game the world loves…..I’m not sure if you understand what it means to host a World Cup….we could’ve left out the military flyovers before the game…..since technically we’re still involved in a non-war with a country playing in the World Cup….not a good image for a host country display at one of the world’s greatest events…..the games should be played in one country….not three…..what was it….38 teams in America….7-8 in Mexico and only 2 in Canada?….all the fans have to be together in one place….then and only then will you feel the true vibe of comradery….when Germany hosted the games….I sat in the English Garten with a beer in hand..…surrounded by fans from all over the world….even if their team wasn’t playing….they rooted for other countries to win….USA was playing the Czech Republic….and I sat next to a fan from the country….before the game we toasted our glasses and he said to me….. “You’re going to lose”…..and I said to him, “No shit!”…..and we had a great time…..I’m still in touch with him….everyone has to be in one spot, not spread over three countries….there won’t be a next time America….you should’ve had the games played in states which are close in travel distances ……like the Tri-State area for instance….in Europe, rail travel is an option…..the number one thing that’s so cool is when every city has the stadiums filled with fans and everyone thinks their country can win…..they’re just enjoying being prideful and representing and being patriotic….walking the streets, sitting down and talking to people they don’t know, sharing their stories…..bringing a sense of community…..and to end on a good note and quote an American who said the same when I experienced my first World Cup….. “We should do this every year.” …..out of all my 70 cycles during this lifetime…..this was the first time I saw America…..happy….. “THEY” may not want us to see it….but I think America came together….ok, a dream deferred but……keep loving your neighbor….the World Cup proved….it ain’t that hard to do….turn the news off….go outside and see how easy it is to not hate each other……it was fun watching our celebrity visitors discover America for the very first time…..fans making cross-country trips just for a cheesesteak in Philly…..wow!…..back in the day…..we caught the train from Penn Station to snatch up a few during our lunch break…..those steak and BBQ videos……the amount and size of the slabs of meat slammed on the plates…..made me sick just thinking about eating such a portion…..I agree, Europeans were not expecting that…..France…..gives you a portion of food a hungry ant could finish….make it look pretty and cost a lot…..America…..the food is  hanging off the plate…..call it what you want….football, soccer, foosball, calcio, sakka…..anything….whatever you call it, it’s not about the sport…..it’s all about the people…..seeing us come together is exactly what “WE”…..needed…..USA, that was a taste of the World Cup and you almost passed the test….until things turned “Red”……just a reminder to those saying the U.S. has never won a World Cup….the U.S. Woman’s team has won the World Cup….4 times….and yes, women count….. “STUPID” was apparently terrified to sit in a World Cup stadium…..until the final game…..he just happened to be using tax payer dollars to play golf down the street in New Jersey…..the chants linking him to Jeffery Epstein had spread to……England, Scotland, Australia and New Zealand fans….and they’re racking up millions of views online…..his staffers are mapping out which games are “Safe” for him to attend….so far….the answer has been none of them……Australia has seriously pissed off the WHITE house…..with their….. “The Aussie boys are on a bender…..Donald Trump is a sex offender”…..you gotta love the Aussie’s…..now, FIFA has come out with an official statement because of what people have been cheering….and like the woman in the video said….. “This is the funniest s..t I’ve ever seen”…..the statement said….. “Football supporters are reminded that politics and political statements are not allowed at the FIFA World Cup 2026…..specifically Australian fans must NOT sing…. “Aussie boys are on a bender….Donald Trump is a sex offender”…….here’s the killer….supposedly they added….. “It doesn’t matter if it’s true”…..excuse me?….if it doesn’t matter whether it’s true or not….where’s the problem?…..this can’t be true……it’s like FIFA is saying…. “Look, it may be true but leave us out of this, ok?”
