ALBANIANS….And they were some serious gangsters….you kids back home in “Da Hood” calling yourselves gangsters and hustlers…..just stop!….y’all don’t know nothing about being a gangster…..living in Europe, trust me….you meet and see a lot of gangsters…..from a lot of different countries……so you busters back home…..you have no idea….anyway,….I was sitting in a bar after a show…..not in Albania….one in Bratislava….and a bunch of guys walk in….see me….I nod hello and one of them walked over towards me…. just like Sicilian Caporegime’s did in Sicily……no joke with that one….it happened…..a lot….and I have no idea why the bad guys walk up to me, but they always do…..the Sicilians were scary……bodyguards packin’….but they cool…..the ones I’m talking to in the bar….scary……anyway…..he sat next to me and we started talking….then his friends joined him and we all started talking…..and had a great time….before the night was over I found out they were part of a serious mafia organization from Albania….ah, ok….long story short, the first guy liked me so much he gave me a number and said…. “If you ever have any problems, call me’….ah, ok…..about a year later I saw my boy in Munich, Germany and we sat in a bar and laugh the night away….I asked him…. “Why are you in Munich?”…..he said, “I had to take care of someone”….ah, ok….then he added, “It was only a 200-dollar job, but I was bored”…..ah, ok….so, I asked,…. “Is he ok?”…..he looked at me with the deadest eyes I’ve even seen and said…. “No!”…..got it!…..and reminded me one more time…. “If you need me or my friends, you call me because I like you”…..ah, ok….long story short again…..when friends of mine had problems they couldn’t handle, I would always say….. “I know some Albanians I can call to help you out”…..ONLY AS A JOKE!…..but here’s what you should know…..Albanians ain’t no joke…..and the country is seriously united about this protest….these gangster aren’t the only ones I’ve met over the years….but Albanians……man, just don’t!….as for his number…..I forgot it years ago and never had to call “Them.”…..as a joke I still say to my friends when they have problems…. “I know some…..” …..they’re proud people…..checkout the history of the entire region……it is a proud region.
UPDATE:…..I ran across a video going around….and it showed Albanian citizens….smashing trailer’s, screaming something aloud in their native tongue (and it didn’t sound nice)….and.…get this…..they were chasing “Israeli citizens” who have been living on….of all places….Sazan Island….can you believe this shit?….there is no respect for anyone anymore….I’m going to take it is their new motto…..can someone let me know if this did happened?….there’s a lotta stuff out there on the net….I told you before….Albanians ain’t no joke.
INTERNET REELS…..I watch lots of them to find things to write and share with you….and sometimes, I run across people who are just plain funny and sarcastic….and I laugh my butt-off….a few give me cooking lessons….scare the hell out of me….make me definitely think differently…..you have to check out these sites….(anana)…..makes me miss Italian food every day and I would love to spend time with Nonna’s and learn how to cook traditional Italian dishes….…(Godfrey Comedian)…..deals with stupid racism…..(RxCKSTxR)….this guy is so creative….he comes up with comical voiceovers for animals…..(lil_shirleys_boy)….this guy is my favorite….he’s “STOOOPID” funny…..(Bobbyswrld)….will make you become vegetarian in a heartbeat…..(Officer_Eudy)….me kinda humor…..(Actmusic, Discover Jazz and Blue Note Records)….I get to see musicians I’ve never heard before…..(No Reservations)…..Anthony Bourdain (R.I.P.) still takes you to great places to eat…..(Mike and Joelle)…..the two of them share the greatest jokes…..(Louis Hu)….shows you products you should “STOP” using….because they’re slowly killing you….(Interesting Engineering)….makes you wonder, “Who comes up with these ideas?”…..(Anne Sopson)….she may be “Too deep” for some of y’all…..(Revamp Knowledge)…..a serious wake-up call….(Romesomuch)…..makes me love Italy even more…..(Matt Chappell)….this brother speaks the truth….and my favorite, favorite….(Dino Serrao)…..beautiful stories, wonderful photos….and the best part is….it’s with subtitles.
JOE & NIC ROAD TRIP….I don’t know if you know these two….but it’s one of my favorite You Tube shows….Joe and sometimes Nic…..drive through cities and towns in America you would never even thing of visiting…..in some states not on your tourist list agenda….the thing is, he’s like Bob Ross…..remember the painter guy….and the way his voice would guided you inside his creations….Nic’s voice is the same, except….he paints through his camera….and they’re amazing trips….he’ll give you a history lesson, tells you about the population, crime, annual income, poverty rate….what famous person came from the town….he shows you the architecture in these places…..and some of the buildings are amazing….plus, it’s nice to watch and listen to while you work…..he starts out in his home state of Texas….and drive across the country and shows you rural towns and cities you won’t believe….lots of empty towns with zero population are still on the map….or a town with just 6 residents still living there….with abandoned stores fill with wonderful antiques…..gas stations abandoned with classic cars sitting there rusting away in empty parking lots….this show is a great road trip across the country…..he’ll show you exactly how the country is not…..that beautiful…..they travelled all 50 states….142 towns and cities….and drove over 24,269 miles….that’s a lot of America….you gotta check them out one day…..seriously……you have to watch them…..it really is a trip.
