….Talk about a debatable topic….but here’s the thing….recently, a few Black men have decided to….well, one could say, “Take the law into their hands”….whatever “Law” may be considered nowadays….anyway,….a 35-year-old Philly city worker….Eric Lewis is facing 76 criminal charges…..on what the press is calling. “A horrific, race-driven ambush that targeted 11 law enforcement officers and left one dead”…..says the ones who had no problem with many NYC officers shooting well over 40+ bullets….at a Black man they deemed a threat….and his only crime was….reaching for his house keys……or the police officer who hopped on top of the hood of a car…..and emptied his gun clip into two Black people sitting on the front seat…..nope, not horrific at all……Eric told investigators he specifically targeted the officers because they were “White”….he said he would not have fired….if they were “Black”…..not horrific at all…..right?…..here’s an interesting comment;….. “Imagine being just as evil to them….as they’ve been to us….they’re always confused when a Black man acts just like them”….there was a Georgia Black man who ambushed and killed a White police sergeant…5 days after a tense traffic stop….he was stopped because the officer smelled weed coming from his truck…..Jimmy Stevenson challenged the officer, saying….officer Fisher stopped him and claimed to smell weed during an earlier encounter….when Fisher attempted to detain Jimmy….he turned his body camera off for 20 seconds…..the same time frame in which a physical confrontation occurred…..when the camera came back on….Stevenson was faced down on the ground with taser prongs lodged in the back of his head….both saying the confrontation was the other person’s fault…..gas-station surveillance footage shows them wrestling on the ground but doesn’t establish who threw the first punch….the police later said they found at least an ounce of weed and three assault-style firearms in his truck…..five days later, investigators said Stevenson pulled alongside Fishers patrol car and opened fire….authorities found Stevenson’s body in South Carolina with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head…..authorities have not publicly established the earlier traffic stop as the motive for Fishers killing…..look, what I’m about to jot….is nothing new to many…..and could be new news to a few….but America has a long history of demanding “accountability” from Black people….while extending excuses, leniency and protection to White men and boys…..from lynch mobs that walked free….to sexual violence minimized by courts, to modern cases where deadly violence is rationalized or excused….the pattern is impossible to ignore…..plus, the fact that “NO ONE” is being held responsible in Nolan Well’s death is just another chapter in the never-ending saga of….protecting White people while Black families are left to questions, grief and no accountability…..flashback in history….maybe Public Enemy was right….and some missed the message….yes, there is a gigantic phobia…….of a “Fear of a Black Planet!”…..and know this….

“WE ARE NOT THE SAME”….We don’t hate people merely because of the color of their skin….we hate people because of the way they treat us…..it’s often said that people may not remember your name…..people may not remember anything about you….but what they will remember is…..how you treated them…..and I believe that to be true…..not my quote…..Mr. Richard A. Ryles said it…..and I agree…..since it is true.

“GO BACK YOUR COUNTRY”…..Never had it said to me….but I’ve heard it said to others….and the ones yelling this racist jingle….do they realize they too….can go back to where they came from?….I mean, if everything about another race bothers you so much….and it turns you into such a hateful person….then go back to where you think “YOU” came from….because of your ancestors greed…..I’m not sure exactly where my bloodline begins….I bet you can trace yours much better than I can….I have a question my dear racists…..if you wanted a White country….why did you kidnap a bunch of Black people….to a Brown occupied land?…..hey, tell you what…..this is what we’re going to do…..

WE’RE GOING TO JUST STOP!…..That’s it…..quit, leave Native American land……..gone….what do you think would happen if the ones who belong here…..yet you feel they do not…..actually did it…..what would happen if we actually left America to the rich?…..if every working class person, every teacher, every nurse, every driver, every cleaner, every warehouse worker just said,…. “F…k it, it’s yours!”…..let’s talk about what that would look like….right now….keep in mind when I’m talking about rich, I’m talking about billionaires….their grocery stores would shut down in three days….no deliveries, no restocks, no cashiers….their kids private schools…..closed….because teachers don’t work for exposure….no bus drivers, no flight attendants, no mechanics…..America would look like a luxury hotel…..with no staff…..gold chandeliers but the toilets don’t flush…..and within a month the stock markets will crash….. .because of all those billion dollar companies who depend on the labor they refuse to value…..the garbage won’t get picked up, hospitals will be full of patients but empty of nurses…..even the military….the muscle of the nation….it would fall apart….because most of its recruits come from the same communities that they underpay and ignore…..you see, the rich own everything but the skill to make anything work…..they’ve never had to fix a power line, drive a truck or keep a kid alive during night shift….their power only exists…..because everyone else keeps showing up…..take that away and the elite become what they fear the most…..irrelevant…..we can’t leave this country to them….because they don’t know how to run it…..they only know how to profit from it…..and if all the people who hold this thing together actually decided to stop….like really stop….the rich wouldn’t just lose their wealth, they’d lose the illusion that they were ever in control……they can’t survive without us, they never could…..the only reason it feels like they can…..is because we’ve been tricked into believing that America belong to them in the first place….if we leave….they are cooked….actually, deep down inside…..I kinda wanna see that happen…..think about it…. “THEY” wake up tomorrow morning and there is not one person of color existing in their world anymore….watch the film “A Day Without Mexicans” and read a book called “A Day of Absence” ….I’m willing to bet this is exactly what would happen if we all left….. “I’d give them 3 days…..before White people divide themselves by eye color.”……ask yourself this question…..why are Whtie people more afraid of Black people than pedophiles?…..y’all more scared of people who are minding their own business….than people touching kids….and you’re not worried about them? ……and with the midterm elections coming up….I still believe there’s…..

HOPE!…..After losing their on-campus polling sites…..more than 100 students from North Carolina A&T….and the University of North Carolina Greensboro…..marched to the polls together on the first day of early voting…..the walk took 45 minutes in 85-degree heat…..past missing sidewalks….you have to thank these students for refusing to let anyone take their voice away.
