CYCLONE HARRY AND SICILIA…..Slammed the hell out of one of my favorite islands….I sent a message to a few friends….but I haven’t heard anything back yet….UPDATE:…..they’re fine…..I don’t know if you’ve been to Catania….and a few of the other coastal cities…..but man they were hit pretty bad…..the market where I loved to buy fresh products, fish and shop…..gone!…..Aci Trezza, Messina, Fondachello di Mascali, Siracusa, Taormina and even San Giovanni…..hit hard…..the island is flooded…..and is receiving record breaking rain…..and turning streets into raging rivers…. I don’t know whether this helped with the devastation….but there was also a 4.3 earthquake right between Catania, Palermo and Reggio Calabria…..I know Sicily will survive this….they have survived the occupation of over 25 different cultures…..while living on an active volcano…..trust me, Sicilians will be…..Sicilians…..when it comes to our new climate change weather patterns…..I don’t know whom got the worst butt-kicking…..Sicily or Kamchatka, Russia…..I’ve dealt with snowstorms…..but the one that hit Kamchatka…..oh, hell no!…..that was the worst storm in 60 years…..like seven feet of snow…..and -36 degree temperatures…..on January 8th….Indonesia, Greece and the UK…. January 19th…..Pakistan, Turkey, Tunisia and Italy…..January 16th…..Honduras, New Zealand, South Africa….January 17th…..Australia, Philippines, Chile and Argentina…..they were all hit with climate catastrophic changes……there’s a 2,000 mile snow storm sweeping across America right now….and one more thing…..
