In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ryan shared how his former college professor, Rosemary Graham, changed his life……Rosemary led the creative writing program at Saint Mary’s College of California. In the second semester of his freshman year, she read his work and told him, “I think you should go to Hollywood and write screenplays.”……Ryan went on to direct five major feature films…..and his film Sinners recently won two Golden Globe Awards….even as his career grew, they have stayed close and been friends ever since…..he invited her as his special guest to walk the red carpet with him at the National Board of Review Awards in New York City…..their story is a powerful reminder that every student needs a teacher like Rosemary who truly believes in them.

I’m not sure of that. We’ve never needed them. They’ll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan and this or that. And they did.
