I LOVE CHILDREN….Because this six-year-old could run the country….better than those who were elected to do it…..Armani Crews…..a six-year-old kindergartner from Chicago…..made a heartfelt request…..instead of celebrating her birthday with a party…..she wanted to feed the homeless in her community…..while her parents initially thought it was a joke, they agreed….and even agreed to forgo her birthday gifts…..the family spent around $300 providing a full meal…..including chicken, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, cake, cookies, fruit, and water, to more than 125 people in East Garfield Park….their church community also helped by donating care packages with essentials like toothbrushes, deodorant, hand sanitizer, and snacks…..the event was a success…..Armani declared simply…. “It was nice to be nice,”….. and her mother described how one man shared he….. “hadn’t had a hot meal in a long time.” ……the gesture resonated…..and Armani expressed a desire to repeat the effort soon….with her family planning another community meal within weeks…..her selfless act underscored a powerful message….. compassion and generosity can shine even in the smallest hearts…..I love this kid and her parents.
