…..And I said to myself this morning ,….that’s a long time to look at someone’s face….but then again I thought about how long my parents have been married….a few minutes later I realized…..there’s that anniversary gift chart people talk about when they’ve been married like….forever….so, I looked it up….I knew there was paper….leather….wood….a butter knife in there somewhere….silver or something….and then I found it….the traditional anniversary list….for 10-years it said was…. “Aluminum and Tin”….and I said… “huh?”…..now the modern A-day list said….. “Diamonds”….my credit card and I laughed at that and high-fived each other….because out of all the women on the planet….I married the one woman who hates diamonds….and I agree with her reason….she doesn’t like the methods and ways businesses and corporations use…..when it comes to obtaining them…..and the third list is flowers….so me being a traditional kinda guy….stuck with tradition…..so, alloys….what can I get?….hummm….no clue….poured a cup of coffee…..press play on my Peter Gabriel’s Secret World Live music file…..and twisted one up…..and while I was listening to Sledgehammer….it hit me!….it was an idea…not the joint….well that too but…..anyway,……I grabbed my jacket, headphones, keys and ran out the door….and ten seconds later I ran right back in….because I forgot my damn mask….hey, that’s like Mastercard….don’t leave home without it….anyway,…..I ran to the place I knew would have both gifts….got ‘em…..ran up the stairs….damn near tripped because I forgot I was high…..grabbed some old wrapping paper….I got lucky….all the other ones had Santa on them….anyway,….wrapped it up…..and put this pretty little pink bow on top….it’s so cute….perfect…..I walked into a store and came out with something aluminum….and Tin…..how cool is that?……I can’t wait to see the joy on her face when she sees what I bought her…..a can of soup and a roll of Reynolds wrap aluminum foil….she’s going to be so surprised and happy……just kidding…..I’m definitely a flowers guy…..about the traditional silver anniversary day……that’s 25-years…..and I’m looking forward to buying her that butter knife!…..love you Nicole……

FIRST ROHINGYA REFUGEES ARRIVE AT ISOLATED BANGLADESH ISLAND….This is wrong in so many ways…..I cannot count that high…..Bangladesh sent the first group of more than 1,500 refugees to an isolated island….even though human rights groups are saying….WTF?…..threw them on seven naval vessels for a trip to Bhashan Char…from the port of Chittagong…..after three hours on the water….they arrived….to an island which is regularly submerged by monsoon rains……but now…..supposedly….has flood protection embankments, housing, hospitals and mosques…..at a cost of $112 million….courtesy of the Bangladesh navy….there’s another article saying…..there ain’t shit on the island….good luck….and good bye…..you want to know what Bangladesh think about Rohingya’s?…..the island is 21 miles away from nothing….and….this island surfaced….20 years ago….out of nowhere……and no one has ever lived there…..recent reports say you can’t grow a damn thing on the island…..but someone came up with the great idea….to put about 100,000 people there….and let them figure it out…..which is just a fraction of the millions of Rohingya Muslims who have fled waves of violent persecution….in their native Myanmar….and now it seems like they’re being sent to a place…..to die!
