EMPEROR COMMODUS….Fought over 700 times in the Colosseum…..killing exotic animals and disabled opponents…..and part of that statement is a lie…..and I’ll tell you why…..he might have had a couple of scraps with some gladiators…..and ended their existence….but dude ain’t never killed an animal….when mom, Nicole and I were in Italy….we visited the Colosseum….it’s a long wait to get in…..and you need to make a reservation for a 24-hour ticket….a ticket with your name on it and listing the time you can visit…..and don’t think you can give your ticket to your boy the next day so he can use it….they check photo ID’s to make sure…..you are you…..anyway,…..while we were walking around with a bunch of people bumping into each other….and us….mom was cool….she scooted right on through everyone….we still can’t believe at 92…..this woman for 4 days actually walked the streets of Rome…..anyway,….I heard a tour guide say something I didn’t know….. “No animals were ever killed or fought against in the Colosseum”…..I turned around and gave her one of those…. “Wait a minute….What??….girl you liyin’” looks….she saw my face….smiled and said…. “It’s true, no animals died in the Colosseum”…..and that’s when I realized my childhood and adulthood…..gladiators films lied to me…..you’re in big trouble the next time I see you Ridley Scott…..now you know all those gladiator films you watched with them killing animals in the arena….dodging charging rhinos…..running away from roaring lions…..horses charging towards those who are about to die…..while the crowd screams as if they were attending a Eagles playoff  game…..at least Russell Crowe wasn’t down with the dying today thing….because in his gladiator flicks…..he was pulling some Saquon Barkley moves on the playing field…..and the zoology specimens getting hacked to death doing battle against or with the humans….all of it….nope, not true…..fake news!
