HERE IS THE SCENE INSIDE A BROOKLYN SUBWAY STATION AFTER A SHOOTER OPENED FIRE…..And you want to know what I saw…..when I watched the videos?……people pulling out their phones…..to record the event….and not helping…..the ones who were injured…..not many people wanted to help…..they wanted to watch…..something that reminds me of…..

BUS # 25…..Yeah, I was on it.….and this is what happened…..Friday…..farmers market.….gonna figure out how to cook.….something Nicole might eat…..anyway,….. I hop on the bus…..traffic can’t figure itself out…..and the bus driver is part of the problem…..I got on and he jammed on the breaks……caught the handrail just in time.….so I tried to move up to a safer spot.….and he speeds up.….and this time slams on the breaks…..and I realized within 1.8 seconds.….I can fly through the air.….and slam into a bus seat.….I’ve taken harder hits.….but that shit hurt.….and I had to ice my thigh for a few days…..anyway,….now, I wasn’t the only person flinging through the air……at the time…..and “I” (no one else) asked is everyone ok.….yep, except the lady behind me…..and now that I’ve had time to think about this…..I would not be surprised if my backpack might’ve hit her…..seriously…..I was airborne……and that bus chair hurt…..anyway,….blood was pouring from her nose…..growing up with a grandma, mother, sister…..and two wonderful.….I’m supposed to say niece.….but I consider them..…my “big-little sisters”…..in the medical field.….you learn a few things…..like the first-aid kit I’ve always carried…..could come in handy…..now that you’re all caught up…..this is where I would like to connect the ones.….who watch…..so, I open my backpack.….to first put in my headphones…..the ones that flew off my head…..when I slammed into the bus chair…..took out my frisbee……yeah, I still carry one..…ask Winston or Chris…..they would understand…..anyway…..again,….I sat my kit on it…..looked at the woman…..and made a choice…..now out of nowhere…..comes a “NURSE”…..who is standing over me…..like a teacher who thinks I might be cheating on a math test…..(trust me, I would cheat on a math test……anyway…..)….oh, she told me she was a nurse when I gave the woman a cotton pad to help stop the bleeding……I asked if she wanted to step in and take over…..nah, she was more interested in observing…..than helping…..which through up a….. “Hummmm”…..anyway,…..then….. “NURSE”…..asked if I knew what I was doing……sometimes a “YES” is a simple answer…..but sometimes……you realize someone for who they are.….and she was a phone people.…..her phone wasn’t out recording anything…..I would’ve smacked it out of her hand…..no, she said her profession was nursing…..and yet, she didn’t help……I told her I have many family members who were/are still part of the medical profession……and when I was 4-years-old…..my mom dragged me to her biology class at William Paterson College…..because no one was available to watch me…..and I liked learning about dead frogs…..so yeah, I have an idea on what I’m doing…..then “NURSE”…..let me know she woman was faking the funk…..or worked in the hospital cafeteria….she said;….. “Why don’t you put a cream on her injury”….I kind of laughed…..but I gave the young girl creeping up behind me a back TFU look…..she did.….I turned to “NURSE” and said…. “You’re not a nurse.”…..and of course she said the rhetorical….. “Yes I am.”…..so I took a shot in the dark and asked her….. “Why did you suggest I put something on an injury…..one neither you nor I have seen?”……and I told her….. “You’re not a nurse….because if you were, I would’ve been assisting you…..and at no moment did you….assist me.”……and yes….she’s a phone people!
