..Didn’t see that coming…..he came right out the box of his papacy by affirming that the family….is “founded upon the stable union between a man and a woman”……the late Pope Francis was friendlier to the LGBTQ+ community than other popes……Francis did not change Roman Catholic doctrine on marriage….and adhered to the traditional definition of families…..he did announce in 2023 that the church would allow the blessing of same-sex couples…..but said these ceremonies should not resemble weddings….he also said the blessings were for the people in the relationship….not the relationship itself….Pope Leo….who was then Cardinal Robert Prevost….did not fully endorse nor reject the concept…..but now Leo is starting to feel more anti-LGBTQ+….like he did back in 2012….he lamented that Western news media and popular culture fostered “sympathy for beliefs and practices that are at odds with the gospel”……says the man connected to the world’s oldest and ongoing pedophile corporation…..anyway,….when he was doing his bishop thing in Peru….he objected to a plan to teach about gender in schools….. “The promotion of gender ideology is confusing…..because it seeks to create genders that don’t exist”.…..I mean, dude has voice some compassion for the LGBTQ+ community….but he’s still not into any openness to changing Church teaching…..on same-sex marriages….or the ordination of women…..and he’s sticking with the Church’s stance on abortion…..but at least he doesn’t like “STUPID’s” immigration stances……kinda sounds like Vatican City went back to square one…..again….way back……different Pope….same old beliefs.
DENMARK…..Has made one of the boldest, bravest and smartest moves to protect childhood…..they are banning phones in schools….and now no child can have a smartphone before the age of 13…..they’re doing this to protect childhood…..they want to bring back “childhood.”…..and it’s the right move…..kids stay more focus and have less anxiety…..this idea lets kids connect with nature…..paint, build tree houses….just be kids again…..nice move Denmark.
