90-YEAR-OLDS LIVING A FULFILLING LIFE SHARE VALUABLE PIECES OF ADVICE…..A lot of the advice I do now…..it’s a shame many people don’t spend time with our elders…..I have…..always have…..and still do…..I remember a tip old man Willie in Boston gave me decades ago…..and I still live by it….. “You don’t get to be old…..by being a fool”…..duly noted Willie…..I wish we could crack open a screw-top bottle of cheap wine again….sit on the stoop……so you could continue to school me……anyway,….many elders said this….. “Now and then, break out the fancy china….and drink the good wine for no reason at all…..dance at weddings until your feet are sore…..don’t fear sadness….as it tends to sit right next to love…..never raise your voice….except at a ballgame…..do one good deed every single day….but never tell anyone about it…..find the things that make your eyes light up….do more of those…..the most damning lie you can tell is….the lie you tell yourself…..no one has ever argued their way to happiness…..getting old is no picnic….but it’s much better than the alternative…..give everybody a second chance….but never a third (ok, I have a problem with this one)……the “good old days” are always happening right now…..if it’s raining on a warm summer evening…..go outside and dance in it (yeah, that’s us)…….it doesn’t have to be perfect….to be wonderful…..if there’s something bothering you…..ask yourself whether it will matter in one month….if not….let it go right now…..you may win the argument but lose a friend….what was the point…..smile and say good morning to strangers on the street” (I do that often)……and here is our mantra…..every day and night….. “Tell your partner you love them every night before falling asleep…..someday you’ll find the other side of the bed empty….and wish you could.”

HERE ARE 10 PERSONALITY TRAITS OF PEOPLE WHO SCROLL ON THEIR PHONES WHILE WATCHING TV…..I don’t know who those people are….but it definitely ain’t me…..so….#1….They struggle with focus and concentration….ok, the only person I know who can multi-task better than me……is my brother…..#2…..They’re lonely…..never been lonely…..I choose to be alone…..#3…..They’re afraid of missing out……missing out on what?…..#4……They seek control in their lives….trust me, I got my life under control…..and if you’re thinking I want to control Nicole…..yeah, right…..#5….They struggle to live in the present moment…..nope, never suffered from that…..#6…..They have unresolved or repressed trauma….I survived the 80’s….if that decade didn’t traumatize me…..I’m good to go…..the music alone was enough to drive people nuts….#7…..They’re constantly anxious…..nah, weeds legal……#8…..They have unhealthy stress coping mechanisms…..nope, weeds legal and I’m old enough to buy wine…..and talk to my wife…..#9……They’re habitual…..not really…..most of the time when I’m on my phone…..I’m finding stuff for you to read…..definitely not addicted to it…..and #10…..They’re codependent in their relationship…..as if…..so, this article is for those of you who refuse to “HAVE A LIFE”……because you pay more attention to “YOUR DAMN PHONE”…..than you do to family, friends…..and other humans on the planet…..and that’s why most of you are lonely, afraid and…..just plain stupid…..a tech toy…..seems to be more important to you…..than having a freakin’ life……you want to make a ton of money in the future?…..go to medical school and become a Chiropractor…….you will have so many Hunchback Quasimodo patients peering down at their phones to tend to…..you’ll have to turn them away.

EARTH HAS TILTED 31.5 INCHES – THAT SHOULDN’T HAPPEN…..Well, you don’t know whether it should’ve or should not have….but it did…..face it people…..we’re declining…..pumping ground water impacts the Earth’s rotation…..and rising sea levels…..and there’s the melting polar caps…..when you have a block break off….twice the size on Manhattan….yeah, problem…..temps rising…..climate change…..need I say more?…..it’s snowing and raining in area where that’s never happened before……it snowed this year in the Sahara Desert…..even an unexplained “why are you here?” lake popped up…..in less than two decades….Earth has tilted 31.5 inches as a result of groundwater pumping…..and this equates to .24 inches of sea level rise….and the planet’s rotational pole actually changes a lot…..from 1993 through 2010…..pumping as much as 2,150 gigatons of groundwater largely for irrigation and human use…..has caused the change….and basically relocating the groundwater into our oceans…..but hey, don’t worry…..because…..

SUNDHNKAGGAR CRATER ROW……Is the Islandic fissure volcano…..one that laid dormant for about 800 years….has thrown-up seven time in nearly one year…..so far the fissure has opened a 3-kilometer gap…..like 2 miles…..no one knew the crater was going to spit…..there wasn’t any seismic activity….and people are scared this thing is going to seriously burp…..and change the world’s climate.
