…..The messed up part about living across the pond has always been..….adjusting to other time zones……and the time CNN was going to start airing it..….it would’ve been 2 in the morning for me……so yeah, damn..….when I woke up my sister Janice posted something about the hearings….. “If you didn’t watch the Jan. 6th Committee hearing last night, go find it and watch it…..THE COUNTRY OF YOUR CHILDREN AND GRAND-CHILDREN AT STAKE”…..I was like, “ok!”…..so I found it on You Tube…..toked a bowl, cracked open a beer and watched……..there’s no question who instigated this attempted coup…..and his followers ate it up……I got it…..Ms. Cheney said…… “President Trump summoned the mob……assembled the mob…..and lit the flame of this attack”……. I promise you I will continue to pay attention to every hearing…..until the end…..now,…..the committee showed us unseen video footage of the surge on the Capitol…..it was at least 10 or maybe longer minutes of complete utter chaos…..the rush on the police……the total disrespect when it came to law enforcement…..the trashing of the Capitol…..the “I DON’T GIVE A SHIT”…….the believing that the election is a fraud, listening to Trump say storm the building and take control…..wanting to hang the Vice President if he didn’t do what Trump wanted him to do..….it was crazy!…….and while I watched……two things kept popping up in my mind……one……I change the scenario…..and imagined “HOW” they would’ve handled that situation……if Obama had told African-Americans to “Stand by or down”……or storm the Capitol in an attempted coup……to stop the steal?…..can you imagine the “bodies lying in the streets?”…….the Capitol police and all the other officers did not bust one of those sums of bitches upside their heads…..with the Billy clubs they were using in an attempt to hold them back……and stop them from entering the Capitol…….now, if that were black people?……you would’ve need bulldozers to scoop up the bodies……and dump trucks to carry them away…..the second thing was……for countless centuries……people of color……have been called…….useless, a threat to not only society but to the white race……negative stories and legends still are being taught to make them be seen as a threat…..they’re savages……can’t be trusted……uneducated…..beneath the pure White race….and the more I watched the new video footage the Committee was showing…..one word came to mind….. “REALLY?…..and “THEY” have the nerve to say we’re savages?”…..Officer Edwards asked a great question……when it comes to understanding America…..she wanted to know……. “How we had gotten here?”……when this is all over……America’s democracy hinges on one simple issue…..the truth!…..and Fox News won’t be part of finding it…..instead of following all the other TV networks……and air the live hearing…..they decided to find a bunch of I’ll say whatever you want me to say people…..and debate the hearings……for two commercial free hours…..in this case…..thank goodness for time zones…..and thank you Europe…..for not airing Fox News.
