Pylsur (Icelandic hot dogs) sold out in the entire country as men scrambled to feed themselves and their kids…..institutions were effectively paralyzed……while this did not change things for Icelandic women overnight, some monumental events followed……five years later, Iceland had the first democratically elected female president in the world…..eight years later, a women’s-only party, the Women’s Alliance, won its first seats in parliament…..and so on……still, even though Iceland is consistently high on the gender equality list…..it is no feminist utopia, as the media would often suggest…..there is still much to be done.

ATHEIST WORKER FIRED FOR REFUSING TO ATTEND COMPANY’S CHRISTIAN PRAYER IN NORTH CAROLINA…..Just because he had a different opinion when it comes to religion…..and was not feeling this “God” thing…..his boss said……he did not have to believe in God…..and he did not have to like the prayer meeting….but he had to participate….he said screw that…..and he was fired…..and filed a complaint to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission…..after his pay was cut in half…..now the company is being sued for religious discrimination and is accused of punishing workers.….who do not want to attend the meeting…..which involved reading that book called the Bible…..what was the point of him joining the meetings…..if they knew how he felt about them….this guy was canned in 2020…..another worker was fired in 2021…..because the meeting went on for over an hour…..and were becoming what she considered…… “Cult-like”…..and after a while….her boss began having everyone chant…..the Catholic version of the Lord’s Prayer in unison…..the lawsuit filed against the company is seeking to fine…..Aurora Pro Services for violating Title VII…..of the Civil Right Act of 1964…..which protects workers from religious discrimination…..the way these Christian nut-jobs are taking over…..good luck with that.
