…..Only Italians could pull this off…..now this car…has been parked on the street in the Italian town called Conegliano….since 1974…..the original owner….Angelo Fregolent ran a newsstand together with his wife….right under the house where the cars parked…..and he’d park the 1962 Lancia Fulvia right there so it would be easier to unload the daily papers….and when the couple finally retired…..he simply forgot about the car….and it remained undisturbed….appeared on Google Maps….and the townspeople fell in love with the car….it soon because a selfie hit….even political candidates would take a selfie with it…..and as times changed….the new ones in charge wanted the car removed…..because they wanted to widen the street….so more carbon polluters could pass by with ease……and this grabbed the media’s attention..…so, instead of taking it the junkyard and smash it….the car appeared at the Auto e Moto d’Epoca near Pradua on October 20th……and was put on display with other classic cars from the same era…..the next step was to restore it…..and once that’s done….it will find a home in the gardens of….the Cerletti Enological School…..and the school is located near the Fregolent’s home…..and the couple can view the car…..from their window…..it’s funny….this article isn’t about the car…..it’s about how the people came to love the car…..cool!
