……Some tests may miss ovarian cancer and causes delays in their treatment…..researchers have been working to uncover these kinds of biases in medicine…..the Trump administration’s crackdown on diversity, equality and inclusion….has jeopardized such research…..as universities react to political pressure and federal agencies comb through grants looking for projects that violate the president’s orders…..Native American women have the highest rate of ovarian cancer…..Black women have lower rates of survival…..compared to White women…..this is work that absolutely needs to be stratified based on race and ethnicity….because this test isn’t perfect for White women either…..the researchers suspect it has something to do with a harmless genetic variation….that is more common in people from Africa, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and West Indian descent….a new study from the National Cancer Institute….looked at a test called CA-125….the test measures a tumor marker in the blood….and doctors use it to determine if a woman with a suspicious lump should be referred to a cancer specialist…..doctors depend on the test during early evaluations….so understanding what the results mean for people of different races….and ethnicities is critical…..Black and Native American patients were 23% less likely to have elevated CA-125 level at ovarian cancer diagnosis….compared to White patients.

HIS BUSINESS VENTURES…..Are heavily reliant on China…..he borrowed at least $1.4 billion from banks controlled by the Chinese government…..to help build Tesla’s Shanghai giga factory….which was responsible for more than half of Tesla’s global deliveries in the third quarter of 2024…..China does not tend to give things away….the country’s laws stipulate that the Communist Party can demand intelligence from any company…..doing business with China…..in exchange for participating in the country’s markets….this means that China could demand Musk hand over sensitive materials due to his close proximity to the Trump administration…..using his business as leverage…..the last thing the U.S. needs is for China to potentially have an easier way of obtaining classified intelligence…..and national security information…..the question is….whether the incoming administration will take the risk seriously….the fact that Musk spent a quarter of a billion dollars to help re-elect Trump….does not give the incoming “WHITE house the license to look the other way….at the national security risks he may pose…..if Trump and his appointees mean what they say about getting tough on America’s adversaries…..then they will act on this matter without delay….there’s too much at stake to ignore what’s right in front of them…..and now he wants to hold another cabinet meeting….with Elon in attendance…..so, I ask you again….who’s running the country?
EXPEL HUNGARY FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION….As much as I love the country….that’s not a bad idea….Article 2…..of the Treaty on European Union states….that it is founded on the values of respect for human dignity….freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law….and respect for human rights….including the rights of persons belonging to minorities…..these values are common to the member states…..in a society in which pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice…..solidarity and equality between men and women prevail…..yeah, well Prime Minister Viktor Orbán ain’t feeling that….because his semi-authoritarian regime openly flouts freedom, democracy, the rule of law, minority rights, pluralism, tolerance and justice….he has repeatedly made it clear….that he prefers the company of dictators such as Russia’s illegitimately elected president….Vald….to that of the “degenerate West”…..he’s passed anti-immigrant and anti-gay policies….as well as laws that hamper the operations of opposition groups…..like journalists, universities and nongovernmental organizations….that are critical of the ruling party….or whose perspectives he otherwise find…. “unfavorable”…..damn, that sounds like someone else in the news…..what’s that guy in America name again?
