VICTIMS AS YOUNG AS 14 IDENTIFIED AFTER DEADLY NEW YEAR’S FIRE AS BAR MANAGERS FACE CHARGES…..As they should…..and the waitress wearing the helmet…sitting on a co-workers shoulders while holding champagne bottles with lit sparklers sticking in them…..if she’s not one of the unidentifiable who pass in the fire….and she still alive….arrest her butt too….the club was in a basement….and I apologize….earlier I found an article saying it was a bands fault the fire started….nope, plain stupidity….anyway,….club in a basement with space for over 300+ people….and the ceiling is lined with flammable insulation?….and the bar has not been inspected….in the last five years…..2019 to be exact….the law on inspections does not “include”…..looking at noise cancellation materials on the ceilings……which is now suspected to have been central to how the fire consumed the bar…..one filled with adults and teenagers as young as 14….makes you wonder if anyone bothered to check for ID’s…..because the victims ages ranged from…14 to 39….the police are now investigating the managers for negligent manslaughter, negligent arson and negligent bodily harm…..at least the police thought….closing their other establishments was a good idea…..there were two fire exits upstairs for at least 200 people to escape…..and one in the basement for another 100…..the cops are trying to figure out if that one was locked on the night of the fire……that question was raised by survivors and locals who visited the bar……the Mayor also thought it was a good idea to “NOW” ban….pyrotechnics in enclosed spaces….better late than…..oops, too late…..now, Nicole found a comment about this incident on the web…..from an American…..who said it’s such a shame….and why were those young kids in a bar…..they were too young to be in there….they need better laws…..or something like that….first, no 14-15-year-old should’ve been in that bar….but “this is Europe”…..second, what this American opinion doesn’t know is….the legal drinking age in most countries is 16…..limited to only beer and wine….back in the day, France would give kids wine for lunch…..when you turn 18, you can throw down…..I love my wife because she made a very valid point….. “This woman is worried about young teenagers drinking…..but in America you can get a gun if you’re the same age?”…..illegal is illegal.”…..and here’s another thing about or future “STUPID” generation….. instead of those kids running for the exits….while looking at a ceiling…. “ON FIRE”….most of them chose to stand there, smile and “TOOK SELFIES” of if….to post on whatever……ah, excuse me???…..I do not understand the stupidity.
