….Samatha Fulnecky….a University of Oklahoma junior….received a failing grade on an essay….so she decided to file a report with her school…alleging that she was discriminated against….because of her religious beliefs….and the Right-Wingers are up in arms about this…..her essay was based entirely around Christianity and the Bible….her essay failed to address the actual assignment….and the school put the instructor who gave her the grade….on leave….it’s just the latest battle in the ongoing culture wars….this actually may be a warning….it could turn small individual issues into the conservative cause célèbre…..the U of O’s Turning Point USA…..the right-wing group founded by the guy who caught a stray aimed-right-at-‘cha bullet while speaking at a right-wing rally….Charlie Kirk….remember?…..he was the right-wing guy assassinated by a right-wing guy….anyway,…..the assignment was to write a reaction to a psychology article on gender stereotypes…..in middle school students and how it affects their mental health….she based her argument nearly entirely around “make believe”….ok, Christianity and the Bible….her point was…. “Women naturally want to do womanly things because God created us with those womanly desires in our hearts…..society pushing the lie that there are multiple genders and everyone should be whatever they want to be is demonic”…..the person who failed her…..is Trans…..and yet, you’re walking around stupid…..and attending University….now that’s demonic…..now here’s the nut kicker….the instructor, Mel Curth gave her assignment a zero for not addressing the “reading”…..Curth who TPUSA and other news outlets identified as trans, opening their feedback not to Ms. Bias-racist lady…..but by saying that they were not deducting points because of the students beliefs….but rather because she did not follow the assignment, contradicted herself, made offensive comments and did not provide empirical evidence….another instructor agreed saying, “This paper should not be considered as completion of the assignment”…..and there you go Sammy…..you’re racist, judgmental, definitely bias and plain ‘ol stupid…..and God can’t cure your particular brand of stupid….demonic, really?…..even Oklahoma REICH-publican Gov. Kevin Stitt had something to say…. “The 1st Amendment is foundational to our freedom and inseparable from a well-rounded education….the situation at OU is deeply concerning….I’m calling on the OU regents to review the results of the investigation…..and ensure other students aren’t unfairly penalized for their beliefs”….and the university said they would check into it….and placed the instructor on administrative leave….until the school completes its formal review process…..TPUSA also had this to say….. “We should not be letting mentally ill professors around students…..clearly this professor lacks the intellectual maturity to set her own bias aside….and take grading seriously…..professors like this are the very reason conservatives can’t voice their beliefs in the classroom”……who said conservatives can’t voice their opinions?…..you get upset when someone disagrees with your mental insanity madness….no one except you has a problem with “Peggy Privileges” essay…..the teacher didn’t….because her answer…..had nothing to do with the question….like I said before…even God can’t cure stupidity…..look at D.C. UPDATE:…the university dismissed another professor for telling students….that they wouldn’t be counted absent from her class….if they attended an on-campus protest in support of the transgender teaching assistant…who was placed on administrative leave…..after she failed the student who didn’t pay attention to the actual assignment…..and referred to trans people as “demonic”….here’s where this teacher messed up….she didn’t give the same option to students….who wanted to protest against the trans TA’s reinstatement….and I agree with OU on why they dismissed this one…. she was accused of viewpoint discrimination for her actions….calling it “inappropriate and wrong”…..BUT….another statement issued by the university I disagree with…. “The university classroom exists to teach students how to think….not what to think”….regardless of what the information available for students is….schools aren’t there to form a student’s way of accepting or understanding what’s being taught in class…..it’s up to them to develop their own way to decipher what’s being taught…..and “how to and what to go” hand in hand….Theodore John Kaczynski was a brilliant mathematics prodigy…..with an IQ of 167….he skipped grades and attended Harvard University at an early age…..and if the universities theory of “how to think….not what to think” is applied here…..then Harvard University is responsible for him becoming….a paranoid schizophrenia “twisted genius”….who became the person called the Unabomber….a domestic terrorist who terrorized America for 20 years….killed three Americans and injured many more….no matter what….Harvard is not responsible for his actions….even if the school was attempting to teach him how to think….and not what to think…..Theodore just “thought”…..just like the stupid student who didn’t think…..about paying attention to the actual assignment…..in case you missed it….the University of Alabama suspended Black and Female magazines….for citing anti-DEI measures….not surprised…..it’s Alabama, look at that states history when it comes to equal rights…..UPDATE (Again…)…..OU actually removed the graduate assistant….after this “religious discrimination” claim considers an appeal…..I couldn’t give you more information because this Civil Rights “Update” site….clearly let me know….this content is unavailable in your region.
